BOWS WITH ENVELOPE PUNCH

Are you looking for an easy card to make that is adorable?  This card was so much fun to make.  I used the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board to make the bows.  You would be amazed at all of the great things you can make using the Envelope Punch Board.  It is definitely not just for envelopes! I also used the Large Oval and Scallop Oval Punches. Add a little texture and some rhinestone bling, and you have a great card.  If you are new to paper crafting, and are looking for a tool that will be versatile and make you smile each time you use it, definitely go for the Envelope Punch Board.   You can order one from my site. You won't be disappointed.

Also, be sure to subscribe and follow by email so you can get all of my posts.  Have a great week!

Cute Thank You Card

Our neighbor who just loves animals and volunteers countless hours at shelters and adopt-a-thons is always doing nice things for us.  A couple of months ago, she showed up at our door on a Sunday night with a puppy from the adopt-a-thon where she had been working.  Nobody had taken the poor little guy, and he just happened to be the same breed as our current dog, Skeeter.  She informed us that he was on the list to be euthanized and thought we would be a good home.  Reluctantly, we took in the puppy for the night to see if he might be a fit for our family.  By the next morning, I was in love!  We named him Jasper, and he is very much a part of our family.  He brings so much personality.

To thank our neighbor for bringing Jasper to us, I created the card above. It is very simple, but I think it turned out really cute! This card was made using the following Stampin' Up! products:

Sweetheart Punch
3/4 " Circle Punch
Squares Collection Framelits
Papers:  Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding, Early Espresso
Early Espresso Stampin' Pad

Here is a picture of Jasper. . . I think you see why we fell in love. Makes me wonder. . . Who rescued who?

Excited!

Hi everybody.  I am pleased to announce that I have taken on a new venture in my life.  I have become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. It started like this. . .  I went to my friend Miquelita's crafting weekend in March and had such a good time!  That weekend rekindled my creative spark.  It was very  therapeutic to spend the weekend with a group of great ladies while being creative.  My family even noticed that I had an extra sparkle when I arrived home that Sunday.  After that weekend, I started to pull out more of my crafting supplies and tools as well as started adding to my collection of supplies.  I love the Stampin' Up! products.  They are fantastic!  I am particularly impressed by all of the options that are available now.  There are options for brand new crafters looking to get started as well as options for the well seasoned crafter.  I attended one more of Miquelita's weekends, and that was it. . . I had to become a demonstrator under her.  I'm hooked!   I will continue to go to as many of Miquelita's weekends as I can.  Nobody hosts a weekend like she does!  I hope to learn from her great mentoring spirit and maybe be able to host weekends like that myself in the future.

I love the look on the face of the person that I give a handmade card to.   They always feel special that I took the time to create a card especially for them!   Through this blog I will be sharing various projects that I make so you can CASE (Copy and Steal Everything) them!  I will also be sharing upcoming workshops, classes, and special events that I will be holding.

I look forward to connecting with all of you and sharing the love of crafting!
